Molo AW 14/15 Part II
Do you want to know a little secret of mine? I never wanted children. When I met my husband I clearly had a change of mind - thank God! Something that didn't change, though, was my wish for a boy. I just couldn't imagine raising girls, because I was more of a tomboy than anything else growing up. Princess teaparties, pink dresses, Barbies...all these things sounded more than...well...unpleasant and they still do. But as a parent, you do a lot of things you really do not want to do just to make them smile. Another thing I quickly learned.
But still, I was over the moon when the doctor announced that we're expecting a baby boy. And Romeo is as much of a boy as humanly possible, thanks to two older sisters. Now all I need to do is pray that this beautiful boy grows into a man's man...a man of honor. But that's probably up to us as parents...no pressure there or anything!
Enough of the sentimental mommy nonsense, though, let's get back to the fashion. It's still all about Molo and their quirky, but cool prints. I mean, how cute is this pants on joggers print? And the splatter longsleeve gives just the right urban edge to the entire outfit. Been trill, for real!

Molo AW 14/15 Part I
It has been a bit quiet on the blog lately. Let's just say I've been busy. That's what life with kids looks like sometimes. Smooth sailing for weeks and all of a sudden everything turns into a hectic mess. As stressful this might be, how boring would it be otherwise? Very - I'm sure about that.
Anyway. Here's to Molo and their fabulous AW 14/15 collection! I had to split this into four parts, because I just couldn't stop snapping pics of these wonderful threads. Let's start with Grace, shall we?
Grace is wearing: Coat from Next, Dress from Molo, Leggings from Molo, Shoes from Zara

About A Dinosaur
We're having quite the prehistoric phase here. We had The Croods on repeat all weekend. Also, there's a lot of roaring and growling and sadly...Romeo has developed a bit of a caveman attitude as well. Nothing's perfect, right?
So how fitting is the dino hoodie from Kukukid? I loved it the minute I saw it for the first time. They now offer it in grey as well, for all you non-black lovers. Combine it with the super cute paw-print designs and the little wild animals can go berserk in style!
Grace wears: Dino Hoodie from Kukukid, Tee from Oopsydaze, Skirt from Kukukid, Specs from Primark
Romeo wears: Dino Hoodie from Kukukid, Tee from Little Boogaweezin, Harems from Kukukid

A Little Rebel And A Fresh Nerd
Keeping these two occupied when big sis is doing her own thing is sometimes harder than it should be. To be honest, the whole stretch of having to be everywhere at once as a mother of three gets to me every now and then.
No. That's actually not correct. It's not the 'having to be everywhere at once', but the constant guilty conscience that somebody always gets dragged along without being asked to. Am I the only one who has these moments? Take our Thursdays as an example. Ashley has her English and ballet class back to back. Both classes are so close together that I have exactly 15 minutes to drive all over town from point A to point B. During rush hour, of course. Anything else would be too boring.
So there's literally no time for the littles to try and act up. You want to go to the playground in the first 45 minutes of English class? Sorry, no, because the playground is too far and I know two things: 1) the five minutes of actual playtime they would get there would result in at least one epic meltdown and 2) ain't nobody got time for that. Ok, so no playground. What about ice cream or cake or the like? Of course! Let's do that, so that the first thing you can tell your sister when she's back from English class is how amazing the ice cream/cake was and that she can't have some, because we have to use our warp speed to get to ballet. Cue yet another meltdown I don't need. So no sugar coated pit stops. I guess that's why our dentist loves us.
Which leaves us with, well, pretty much nothing to do. Nothing but those little games you play with your kids when being on the road. The ones we don't like, because they're cool for five seconds and then turn into pure boredom. Or maybe it's really me, failing at entertaining the brood. Thank God they never really complain about any of this. So I guess I shouldn't even worry my pretty little head about it. But since I have to be everywhere all the time, I certainly want it all, all the time...a mother just can't help herself now can she?
How do you balance it all? Or don't you really bother and just take things one at a time?

Player's Wifes
Have you ever seen the movie 'Just Wright' with Queen Latifah, Paula Patton, Common and the always flawless Phylicia Rashad? Oh, and by the way isn't she the living proof that vampires exist? She must be what...almost 70 and still looks like an embryo. Not fair.
Ok, what I actually meant to say is Queen Latifah and Paula Patton go to a NJ Nets game and while Queen Latifah is all into the game, Paula sits with her opera glasses (of all the things you can take to a basketball game...) and scans the player's wifes section of the stadium, hooting about their awesome bags and dresses and whatnot. I find that quite hysterical.
Now, Ashley and Grace are not Romeo's wifes, of course, but when it's time for his soccer practice and games they're quite like Paula Patton in that movie. Anything but focused on the game. And while they sit on the bench, chitchatting about everything and nothing, I'm constantly reminded of this movie. You could say I'm just finding excuses to think about Common, but you'd be SO. VERY. WRONG. He's fine, but I actually love the film.
You never know what the future brings, right? Who knows, maybe one of my girls will be a player's wife one day. Or be out on that court while her hubby watches after her Birkin. I don't know.
What I do know, though, is that they already look like they could sit with the player's wifes. Because they're pretty fabolous. Yes, I know what you're thinking. But it is NOT bragging if it's true.
I mean, look at those shades. How rad are these?! You can never have enough leo in your life! And the mirrored glasses will come in handy whenever you want to throw some shade on that annoying woman two seats next to you without anybody noticing. Both sunnies are from Milk & Soda, by the way. And so are both the camo and sequin sneakers. Ashley calls them her disco kicks, because of the reflections on the floor when the sun hits the shoes.
Ashley is wearing: Coat from Zara, Knit Sweater from Zara, Jeggings from H&M, Shoes from Milk & Soda, Sunnies from Milk & Soda, Scarf from the dollar store
Grace is wearing: Faux Leather Jacket from Zara, Shirt from Primark (worn as a dress), Leggings from H&M, Shoes from Milk & Soda, Sunnies from Milk & Soda, Scarf from Zara

Making New Friends
We had the pleasure of meeting Dilya - better known as Nyearthur on Instagram - and her little family. She recently posted a picture of Arthur infront of this alien-esque space egg thing in Düsseldorf (which is actually a pretty futuristic bar) and I needed to know where this was taken. She thought we were living abroad and was a bit surprised at first, but then asked if it was ok to tag along when we would visit this place. Of course it's ok! And here we are. Only a couple of days later. The magic of social media. I don't even know how they managed to find like-minded people back when there was no Instagram, or Facebook or whathaveyou...
And how cute is little Arthur??? My three sure loved him and they had a lot of fun together. They even walked on water together! Been a while since somebody did that, hasn't it? Of course they got soaking wet in the process, but even Romeo, who's always a bit prissy when it comes to being wet while wearing clothes, didn't mind at all. He saved the whining for the drive home, though. Charming.
It's so good to see how easy it is for kids to click. Not overthinking anything, just getting jiggy with it. Always a great experience. And I think it's safe to say that we'll see more of Mr Arthur in the near future!
Ashley is wearing: Top from Little Miss Galia, Leggings from River Island, Shoes from Crime London
Grace is wearing: Top from Petitbo, Pants from Agatha Cub, Shoes from Crime London
Romeo is wearing: Shirt from Agatha Cub, Harems from The Mini Classy, Shoes from Zara
