ChiChiRomeo+Me x Crime London

It's a criminally cool edition today! Crime London is a relatively new brand (just went into their 4th season) founded by sisters Lisa and Jessica Kistermann. Their line includes short boots and sneakers, taken to another level by an amazing attention to detail when it comes to accessorizing.
Their designs are unique and have that vintage handmade feel to them that I love. But what I love more is that they also have a line just for the little ones.
The quality is superb. Just what you would expect from an European brand. I mean, with kid's shoes it's not about looks alone. I want durability. They have to survive daycare, school and the playground and have to be comfortable all at once. Talking about pressure, ha!
These are hands down the perfect kicks. The kids love them, I love them and even the husband approves. He is kind of a stickler when it comes to shoes, so that's saying something!

Flowers for my golden child

Well, hello there! We're finally back from our summer break. These were the last weeks in freedom, as Ashley is going to be a 1st grader starting from next week Thursday. GASP! Excuse me, but where did the time go? Why do I feel like I'm about to turn 50? I swear it was just yesterday when I changed her first poopy diaper (sorry for being this graphical, but poo seems to be more of a milestone than pee was) and now this. School. Which also means *pause* homework. And, of course, being somewhere on time. Every. Single. Day. GASP!!! again. I probably fail as a German when this is my biggest fear. But I run on african time, which basically means that everybody else has a clock and I got time. I'm never on time. For nothing. It's so sad, really. Or better yet, it's fashionable. Yes, that's what it is. Fashionable. Yeezus puts it this way: "Good things come to those who wait." and Yeezus is always right. So they better not frown upon Ashley being late. It's a good thing - Smile!
Of course, just in time for back to school summer decides to take a break. But that's ok. She's got a super cute floral jacket to get along with the breeze. The black Talc skirt from Ladida that we borrowed from her sister is a favorite, because it glitters. The 'Stay Golden' tank from RAGS is one of my favs. It's an suggestion I'll just follow voluntarily. And so should you. Stay classy, stay golden. Until next time!
